Karrak Reach Forest Retreat

John and Rhonda are warm, friendly and made us feel welcomed immediately.The chalets are spotless and well furnished and you feel comfortable as soon as you step in.The beds are tops! We are usually fussy about bed when we travel but here, we slept well and left feeling rested.The view from the balconies are fantastic- we had every dinner watching the daylight meld into night.The location is convenient: close to many tourist spots. It's easy to get to the main highway and only about 15 min to town.John and Rhonda are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

We stayed with our dog in May and it was a beautiful place to stay . Modern accommodation and clean. The views of the animals and land was awesome to wake up too and all the trees and bush behind us. Picture perfect.

This place is amazing! We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. The place had everything we needed. Kids loved feeding the animals with John. Both John and Rhonda were super to deal with from start to finish of our stay. Would highly recommend this place.

A piece of heaven on earth. The views from the Karri Chalet and all around the property are just breath taking and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The chalets were immaculate and so well thought out. Perfect for families or couples. The spa bath, private balcony and modern furnishings add the right amount of luxury to make it perfect for a romantic getaway. It was a wonderful property to enjoy with our dog too. Plenty of space to run and walk him safely. Upon arrival John provided us with plenty of useful and helpful tips about which venues and locations were dog friendly so that we could still get the best of Denmark during our stay. Both my partner and I were wowed and we can't wait to go back again!

We loved staying at Karrak Reach , the stunning views, the quietness, very welcoming from Ashlea and family and especially Bailey the friendliest dog you will ever meet! The family cottage was perfect for our family.

We were very, very happy with our three day stay. The accommodation is of the highest standard and the views from the unit outstanding. We loved every minute.

John and Rhonda are welcoming and accommodating hosts. They made sure we had all we needed and provided us with excellent local tips. Our chalet was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with good quality furniture, bedding and crockery. Thoughtful touches too: I like to drink my tea from a fine china mug, so I was happy. We had a stunning view from our terrace, enhanced by karri trees, kookaburras, black cockatoos plus a kangaroo or too. The resident animals were fun too. We took our dog and she had a lovely time. It was very relaxing and I was sorry to leave. Highly recommended.

We love staying at Karrak Reach. Great for kids. My daughter loves feeding the animals. Very peaceful and lovely view of the hills. The family that run the property are very friendly and welcoming, too!

HEAVENLY!Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful- everything was immaculate. The beds were so comfortable with good quality bed linen and the sofas were comfortable too. It was so nice to see the animals again. The silence and the bird life was out of this world. My family on holiday from Scotland were very impressed and happy with my choice of accommodation. Thanks again Ashlea and Adam. I hope to return later this year.

The best experience we've ever had. Pleasantly surprised and couldn't ask for more. The chalet was tidy, well equipped and well contained. The view out off the balcony was amazing. Overlooking the farm and green mountains in the distance. It had everything the 4 (me, wife and 2 young boys) of us wanted.The kids especially enjoyed the animal feeding on the farm. Wish we could stay longer but we'll certainly be coming back.John and Rhonda, thanks for making our stay a memorable one
